Day in and day out, we bring the best shows here to the Amphitheatre for those who wanna rock out, jam out, and see all their favs from way back when with your little ones here in the heart of the city. And this week?? We’ve got a show for you - coming May 22nd to the city is moe.! The Born To Fly Tour 2026 is all about celebrating and getting back to the band's roots. It’s been 35 YEARS - jeez! So there’s no time to waste when it comes to making sure we’re all jamming out together when the boys take the stage. AND - even more fun - it’s their LAST STOP ON THE TOUR. Yep: the last call. AKA your last time to ball with the boys before they go on hiatus until who knows when. AKA - time to make the right decision.
So - for those not in the know, who even is moe.?!? Formed in 1989 in Buffalo, New York, moe. have spent more than three decades defining the American jam-rock landscape. With core members Rob Derhak, Al Schnier, Chuck Garvey, Vinnie Amico, and Jim Loughlin, the band built their legacy on improvisation, musicianship, and community — cultivating one of the most loyal fanbases in live music, affectionately known as the Famoe.ly. They became festival mainstays through the ’90s and 2000s, performing on stages from Bonnaroo to Red Rocks, and even curating their own annual events like moe.down and Snoe.down. Over the years, moe. have released over a dozen albums, including the classics No Doy, Tin Cans and Car Tires, and Dither, with tracks like “Rebubula” and “Plane Crash” standing as cornerstones of jam culture. Acclaimed for their relentless touring and musical integrity, they’ve earned Jammy Awards, critical praise from Rolling Stone, and a lasting reputation as one of the genre’s most innovative live acts.
This new 2026 tour brings them back to us in a whole new and organic way. Same band - albeit older and wiser - with the same material we all know and love from them : plus, if we’re lucky, some new things too! Grab the crew, time to party like its the 1990s part two! See y’all real soon.
