An EPIC evening of rock music as Band of Horses and Dinosaur Jr. come to Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina on Thursday 16th July 2026 as part of their highly praised Dinosaur Jr. and Band of Horses Co-Headlining Tour.
Grammy nominated Band of Horses performs their debut album, 'Everything All the Time' in its entirety on the 20 year anniversary of this alternative rock masterpiece that produced iconic songs like Grammy nominated “The Funeral” and “Is There a Ghost” written by lead vocalist Ben Bridwell and the critically acclaimed Washington based group.
Alt-rock supergroup Dinosaur Jr. perform the entire Massachusetts trio’s 1993 album ‘Where You Been’, an alt-rock classic that goes some way to dispel the End Of Energy vibes and instead floods your ears with jangly guitars and the distortion heavy riffs that defined a generation of alternative music.

This alt. rock group was nominated for the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album for "Infinite Arms" in 2011. In addition, they received the PLUG Independent Music Award for New Artist of the Year in 2007. The album Infinite Arms from 2011 got a nomination for a Brit Award in the category International Album.
Pioneering noise rock band Dinosaur Jr. is bringing its thunderous guitar genius back to Michigan. Formed in 1984 by J Mascis (guitar, vocals), Lou Barlow (bass) and Murph (drums), the iconic alternative rock band has inspired a long list of other acts including Nirvana, Pixies, Hole and many more. The band’s more popular tracks like “Freak Scene,” “Start Choppin,” and “Feel the Pain.” But for this special show fans will get to hear the band’s 1993 release “Where You Been” from start to finish.
The Amphitheater is located at 1941 Amphitheater Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401, and seats 1,200-1,400+ and will be offered on a general admission basis, allowing patrons to bring their own seating or lay out on the grass.

Free parking is available in a grassy lot at the base of the bluffs on Lakeshore Drive between North Carolina Avenue and Honeysuckle Drive. Additional parking is available in the street along Lakeshore Drive. There are multiple parking lots throughout the greater Wilmington area that can serve as back-ups in case of congestion at the base of the bluffs for arrival.
