Dark Star Orchestra head to Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, Wilmington, North Carolina on Sunday 17th May 2026 for a jam-packed weekend of groovy tunes on their Spring Tour 2026.
This Chicago based band dedicated to bringing back the old school Grateful Dead concert experience. Dark Star Orchestra performs all their songs in true Dead fashion and have brought the great music of the Grateful Dead to life for the 21st century with all the improvisation, jazz and eclectic sounds that defined the original band’s live shows. Dark Star Orchestra’ repertoire includes some of the greatest songs ever written, including Dark Star, Truckin’, Casey Jones, Friend of the Devil, and countless others.

Songs included in this collection will include Dark Star, Truckin', Casey Jones, and Friend of the Devil, among other songs that Deadheads know and love. With over 3,300 concerts performed since their inception in Chicago in 1997, Dark Star Orchestra has set the standard for what a Grateful Dead cover band should be. P
The band has toured throughout the world and has headlined their annual Dark Star Jubilee festival. They have taken the Grateful Dead concept to the next level, as they have taken to performing sets of music note for note like the Dead used to, but will also include unexpected songs to keep audiences surprised and excited.

Overlooking the breathtaking view of Greenfield Lake with its backdrop of towering trees. This beautiful, gated facility, which was listed as a Local Historic Landmark in 2011, seats 1,400 with variable ticket pricing and has a floor with seating areas of renovated benches. ADA complimentary parking and services are also available. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be on site with everything from traditional concert fare of popcorn and nachos to vegan and vegetarian items, as well as specialty beer, signature cocktails and other drinks.
